GOLDEN BEARS TO FACE ALBANY STATE IN SIAC BASEBALL TOURNAMENT
FAIRFIELD, AL —The #2 West seed Miles College Golden Bears (22-16) will play #3 East seed Albany State University in game 2 of the day at 12 noon in the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SIAC) Baseball Championship, in Ozark, AL at Eagle Stadium on Thursday, April 26th.
Stillman College enters this year's eight-team double-elimination tournament as #1 seed in the west after finishing with a 21-0 record in the SIAC, 24-16 overall. The Tigers will face Benedict College, the #4 seed in the east, in the first round on Thursday at 3 p.m.
Claflin University comes into the tournament as the #1 seed in the east after a 16-4 record in the SIAC, 24-16 overall. The Panthers will take on Tuskegee University, the #4 seed in the west, in the first round on Thursday at 9 a.m.
Other first round games on Thursday include #2E Paine vs. #3W Kentucky State at 6 p.m.
